HOW TO CARE FOR PATINAS:

Hand applied patinas on metal are somewhat delicate. They are not meant to be worn as everyday jewelry, and especially not in wet situations. I seal them with lacquer, which will not hold up to exposure to water. If they must be cleaned, I would recommend very gentle wiping with a dry cloth. Absolutely no water or cleaning solutions of any kind. You may want to apply a water resistant sealer over the lacquer, such as polyurethane or microcrystalline wax to help increase the durability of the patina.

Patinas are variable surface treatments, and the chain you receive will not look exactly like the pictures - each piece is unique but similar to those pictured.
